Colossians
Sermons From the Book of Colossians
The book of Colossians is a letter written by the Apostle Paul to the church in Colosse. The church has been corrupted with heresy and Paul writes to refute this.
Paul’s letter includes themes such as thanksgiving, the supremacy of Christ, grace rather than legalism and holy living. These themes all encompass the overriding message that Christ and Christ alone is sufficient for our righteousness before God. The sufficiency of Christ also helps empower and equip us to live holy lives despite us no longer being bound by the law.
