Being a part of a Church is a wonderful joy. We encourage new visitors to try us on a Sunday first, but as you get to know us you’ll see there are lots more opportunities and events happening.
We worship God together every Sunday morning. The meetings include a time of singing, taking Communion together, prayer and a sermon from the Bible. We believe God is present with us during this time through the Holy Spirit. After the main meeting we share tea, coffee and biscuits together, because friendship and family are an important part of doing Church.
We do activities for children twelve and under every week, led by DBS-checked volunteers. And we put on Youth Work fortnightly and know that our teenagers enjoy the main adult talk on the other weeks.
During the week, smaller groups meet in homes together. Life groups are about friendship, fun, food and prayer together. Sometimes we respond to the sermon and have in depth discussion, but other weeks we just have dinner together and enjoy each other’s company
On the first Tuesday of each month we gather together to pray. We devote an hour and a half to seeking God, worshipping Him, hearing from Him and asking Him for what we need. Often in this freer time, we see the spiritual gifts in operationand we’ve had some great times encountering His presence in power.
Fish & chips on the beach, walks in the Hundred Acre Woods, Christmas parties, lunches together – we like to schedule time just to have fun together. We let the Church know about socials via email and in our notice section on Sundays
We don’t just exist for ourselves as a Church, but look to serve and help others when we can. In recent years, we have created and delivered luxury Christmas hampers to local people who needed a little bit of help, supported Operation Christmas Child, which provides presents for children in poverty around the World, helped people isolating with their shopping and fed some of the homeless people in Fareham.
We’re always looking of new ways to serve our local and global community, so get in touch if you are in need of support.
