The Holy Spirit is the third person of the trinitarian God. Therefore, the Holy Spirit is not simply someone to be experienced, but a person to be known relationally.
Duncan draws out from this passage some of the ways the Holy Spirit worked amongst the believers in Acts 2 and continues to do so amongst believers today. The Holy Spirit works in power, through the gifts of tongues, prophecy, dreams, visions, works to glorify Christ, works to convict of sin, and works to give devotion to the Church.
The Holy Spirit is a precious gift to us and we responded to this sermon by inviting him work in us in all of these ways.
