This part focuses on the judgement day experience for the believer who is assured of their salvation by faith alone in Jesus Christ. For these people their names will be in the Book of Life ensuring their place in heaven.
However, the bible is clear, they will still give an account of their lives before God. But what is the point of this as it isn’t works that can save us?
We were encouraged that this is an opportunity for God to reward the sacrifices and obedience of believers in this life. This is consistent with his nature where he loves to bless us. It should also motivate us, to make the most of living our lives well for God, capitalising on every day. Jeff unpacks what this looks like.
These heavenly rewards will not mean we have greater value to God in heaven or different levels of enjoyment. All believers will have the same experience of Gods glory and majesty.
