He demonstrates humility in acknowledging he is not worthy to play any part in the life and work of Jesus. Yet, he displays a steadfast confidence in knowing God has called him to this amazing work through his grace and mercy.
Jesus baptises his followers with the Holy Spirit. A work that helps empower his followers to boldly proclaim the good news of Jesus in an incredible way.
Lord, help us to marvel and delight in these glorious truths about you. May we you baptise us in the Holy Spirit regularly so we can be bold witnesses for you.
