On the cross, Jesus carries our sin and frees us from guilt, but he also carries our shame, so Christians can be free from shame! What a wonderful salvation we have received!

Breaking Strongholds | John 5:5-11
A man is stuck by a pool, yet never healed. We also sometimes get trapped in a bind, by strongholds and circumstances. Jesus can heal us, rescue us and break us free.

Jesus offers rest to the weary and the opportunity to learn from Christ. This promise comes after he pronounces woe to the Pharisees revealing the need for repentance and then shows that God is sovereign in salvation.
