Grace Filled People & Church | Galatians 2

This sermon encourages Christians to live out the grace of God. For as in Peter’s case, it is very easy to understand the theology of grace, but slip into not living it out.

Grace at work impacts our relationships with others especially in the area of forgiveness. For the believer knows that we have been forgiven of so much more than the wrongs done to us in this life. Amazingly God holds no grudge against us for the wrong things we have done! Therefore, as his followers, this is now our standard of forgiveness to apply in his strength.

Grace also impacts our relationship with ourselves. We can be free from pride as everything good thing we have comes as a gift from God. We can also be free from viewing ourselves as good for nothing. Instead we can be humble like Jesus was being driven by doing whatever brings God more glory.

Grace should impact our relationship with God. We should be led to awe and worship for what else can we bring God who have lavished such amazing gifts on us? It should also lead us into deeper commitment and devotion to God. For we are motivated to give our best to the one who held nothing back from us.

Lord, help us to not just know the grace of God intellectually, but to apply it to every area of our lives so that your presence amongst us might be evident.
