This sermon looks at Romans 1: 24-32, where Paul continues to explain the consequences of rejecting God. We see 3 times the words “God gave them over” in this part of the passage, showing us that one of the consequences of sin is God allowing people to follow the desires and sinful patterns they have chosen.
We also look at what Paul means when he describes homosexuality as a dishonourable passion, and how God’s punishments for idolatry is to give people over to many different forms of sins as they turn away from Him.
May we recognise the seriousness of sin, turn away from idols and sinful desires, and continually turn towards God and His truth.
