This sermon focuses on the passage of Romans 1:16-17 which teaches us that the righteousness of God is revealed through the gospel, and salvation is only by faith in Jesus.
We also explored the doctrine of justification and what it means for how we live. For example, putting our faith in Jesus, humbling ourselves before God, not trying to earn His favour and not allowing guilt to keep us from participating in church. We’re also called to be like Paul, not being ashamed of the gospel and extend grace to others.
May we trust in Jesus, rest in his grace and boldly live out the good news of the gospel.
