This sermon reflects upon the many glorious blessings that God lavishes upon his people that we often take for granted.
Moses proclaims multiple blessings that God lavishes upon his people as he prays for ten of the tribes of Israel. Blessings of eternal life, of a God who hears our prayers, of a God who fights for us, of forgiveness of sins, of God’s love and protection, of abundant practical blessing, of God’s justice, of strength and joy, and of satisfaction found in walking with God.
Thank God these blessings are not just for the tribes of Israel! These blessings are true for every follower of Jesus. They have been passed on to us, just as Moses passed on his wisdom to Joshua.
Lord, help us not to take these glorious blessings for granted, instead cherishing them and thanking you for them.
