Before Lockdown began, after our service was over, we would all go and have tea, coffee and biscuits together. Quite often there was cake too!
It was great to catch up with people who we may not have seen for a week, but the best thing about it is we could say “Hello” to any new visitors. We always had one or two new people to get to know. Those who wanted to would share their email addresses with us and we would send them a short email saying “Thanks for coming” and offering that person a chance to ask any questions about our Church. And so slowly we got to know lots of new people, many of whom stayed and became part of our Church.
We know there are new people joining our services now and we’re so grateful for that, but we don’t have that chance to say “Hello”.
That is all to say, we would love you to comment below and tell us that you’re watching, especially if you haven’t met us before. If you’re interested, you can also email contact@christchurchfareham.co.uk and we can also add you to our mailing list and start to connect you to our Church community.
